Shocks and Struts

The lifespan of a strut is about double that of a shock. Most people do not notice the gradual deterioration in ride quality and many shock and struts are not replaced as often as they should be.

Shock and struts should be checked every 20,000km or when any of the following symptoms are notice:

1. Bouncy or uncomfortable ride.
2. Excessive body sway when cornering.
3. Fluid leaks from the shock or strut.
4. Nose dive from braking.
5. Uneven tire wear.
6. Tail squat when accelerating.
7. Physical damage to the shock or strut.
